    July 14, 2008

    Hey Crew,

What a great end of the season party we had. First off, I really want to thank Frank for being such a wonderful host. I believe a wonderful time was had by all. The food was delicious and the apple martini's (thanks Marc) were even better. I hear the wine was great but never partook. Oh ya the margarita's were flowing too. Most left around 11:00 p.m. but there were still a couple of us hanging out at midnight! Remember the answer is Denmark. I will send individual photos to you when I get a chance. I also put them on Facebook in the Nikki's Tennis Crew group if you would like to see all of them. Awards were handed out. Here is a list of who got what. If you are on this list and didn't make it to the party, make sure to grab your trophy from me at some point. Congratulations to all our winners well that is everyone actually!!

TENNIS CAMP is happening this weekend. We will make sure to have lots of ice. I hear it is only suppose to be in the high 90's so I am sure we will survive. I will be sure to reserve the courts with air conditioning. I am hoping we have a couple of those days when they say it is suppose to be hot and then it ends up being really pleasant. We are starting camp at 3:00 p.m. when there is usually a nice breeze starts blowing in. The cost is $95 per day or $150 for both. Please let me know which day(s) you will be playing. Strong juniors are invited to participate as well

COUNTRYWIDE CLASSIC is going to be the week of August 4-August 10th. I have ordered tickets for Wednesday August 6 evening ($33 per ticket), Friday August 8 evening ($48 per ticket) and the finals on Sunday August 10 midafternoon ($60 per ticket). I am going to add a $5.00 per order fee. If you have ordered tickets already if you could get me the check tha would be awesome. If you haven't ordered I still have some for Wednesday night and a couple for the other nights.

NUTTS the best tournament of the year. Everyone needs to save the date for the end of the summer family tournament. August 16th 5:00-8:00 p.m. This is my Annual Tournament that has all levels and divisions and it is just a whole lot of fun. I hope you will all be able to participate. You can download the flyer off my web site.

BOOT CAMP For those of you who seem to run out of fuel in the third set, I have met the trainer who will change that quickly for you. Jai Lewis has put together a comprehensive workout that includes ab, arm and butt work mixed in with some running and all sort of fun things. We are meeting at Beeman Park Monday's 9:30-10:45 AM. Other days and times are pending. The cost is $20 per workout or $100 for 6. For information you can contact him at jai@thebodyarchitects.com

LADDER I really would like to get the ladder going through the summer so you will have lots of matches before the next season. If you would like me to start a doubles one, I can do that too. Just let me know and I will arrange it when I get back. It will start in July.

Wii Tournament I know we have talked about the Wii tournament. When are we going to do it? I am sure there must be a day during the summer we can get a big tournament played!! Any suggestions?! Maybe throw in a game or two of guitar hero and rock band!! Oh what a fun day!!

    Thanks, Nikki
