Nikki's Tennis Crew is a comprehensive tennis program for ages 3-100 for the social player to the competitive player. Many players who start in the junior program graduate to the adult program. Group and private lessons are offered for all levels. Team Tennis and Tournaments are offered for both junior and adult players interested in the competitive aspects of tennis. Look thru my web site for more information on programs offered. Summer Junior Special "Bring a Friend to Camp" . Bring a friend to class who has never played before and they play for free. If they sign up for five classes you get a 30 minute private lesson.

Can you believe summer is almost here. I am eagerly awaiting Roger rising the French Open Cup over his head Sunday morning!! So much to tell you about this summer I am not sure where to start!! Here is a bit of what I have planned for the summer.

JUNIOR SUMMER TENNIS CAMP will start the week of June 15, 2009 and run through August 28, 2009. (limited schedule the week of June 15) The program is designed with a flexible schedule to allow for all your child's summer activities and vacation plans. Classes of all levels are offered at various times throughout the week. Your child's participation can vary week to week according to your summer schedule. Sibling discounts and special weekly rates are available. "Bring a friend to camp" free for their first visit. If they sign up for five classes, you get a free 30 minute private lesson. Private lessons are available too.

ADULT DRILL CLASSES schedule will change a bit in the summer. The classes that will remain the same are Monday 7:00-8:30 p.m., Wednesday 7:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday 7:00-9:00 p.m. The morning sessions will change to Wednesday and Fridays 8:00-9:00 a.m. Please confirm your attendance. Private lessons are available too.

TOURNAMENTS: Mark your calendar for the tournaments I have scheduled. As stated above there is the Ladies Mixed Up Doubles on May 8th tournament/luncheon. NUTTS the family fun tournament on Saturday, August 15th. Claude and I are planning a men's singles and junior sectional warm up tournament in June. One never knows when a tournament will pop up. I will send out an email with information on any last minute additions

SUMMER KICK OFF TOURNAMENT is happening June 13, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. The tournament will have Men's and Junior Singles and Ladies Doubles divisions. The cost is $45 for singles and $30 per person for doubles. After the tournament we will go to The Wine Bistro to celebrate the great day and have some lovely wine and dinner. The cost for dinner will be $35.00 with a no host bar. Please sign up no later than June 10th. Sign up with either Claude or myself.

MEN'S PRO TOURANMENT LA Open formally known as Countrywide Classic comes to UCLA the week of July 27- August 2, 2009. This is the 8th year that Nikki's Tennis Crew has participated in the elite ticket program and is consistently the largest tennis group. I have bought a group of tickets for the matches on Monday, Wednesday, Friday evenings and for the Sunday Finals. Monday is an exhibition between Marat Safin and Pete Sampras a rematch of the 2000 US Open finals. Hopefully Pete will do better this time!! Also confirmed are the Bryan Brothers for Wednesday night. Special Friday Day for the kids, after class Friday morning we are going to go to the matches and twenty of you will get to go to the players tunnel and give them high fives on their way to the court. You know you will probably find me roaming around the grounds trying to find Fernando Gonzalez or the other good looking Spanish players! END OF SEASON/SUMMER KICKOFF PARTY Time to lick our wounds or tell about THAT great match you played. Did I mention that amazing drop shot I hit on the return of serve. Lucky for us, our very own EJ has offered to cook for us at the restaurant she works at. Sunday, June 28, 2009 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Trophies will be handed out to Most Valuable, Most Improved, Coaches award. Did you win one??? Come find out and bring spouses and children! The details will be sent in a separate email. Please confirm no later than June 25th

TENNIS CAMP for Adults and Advanced Juniors is July 18 and 19 from 3:00-7:00pm. Claude Confort, Mindy Oki and I will be running you through drill. We will cover conditioning, stroke production, strategy, match play and video analysis. Saturday will include a light dinner. Sunday will be our Wine Bistro awards banquet. The cost is $150.00 for both days or $95.00 per day. Wine Bistro is $35.00 no host bar. Spaces are limited so please sign up in advanced to reserve your spot. You can see the video of past camps on the right side of this page. Reserve the date of future camps October 3/4.

NUTTS END OF THE SUMMER Family Tournament will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., August 15 2009. Mark your calendars and arrange your vacation plans around the tournament!! I heard out of town family members are flying in for the tournament!! It is a pot luck tournament with EVERY division you can think of. All the tournament information can be found under special events!
