Crew Website. Different portions of my website are updated on a weekly
basis, so please come back often to see what is happening in our world of
tennis.
Nikki's Tennis Crew is a comprehensive tennis program for ages 3-100
for the social player to the competitive player. Many players who start in the
junior program graduate to the adult program. Group and private lessons are
offered for all levels. Team Tennis and Tournaments are offered
for both junior and adult players interested in the competitive aspects of

Hey Tennis Crew,
Time for league tennis to begin. Matches will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Home matches will be later in the day and away matches will depend on home team's schedule. Our team colors this year will be black and red. It is a great excuse to buy yourself a new outfit. The cost is $15 for home and $10 for away. A deposit of $60 is appreciated to cover court costs. You will be charged only for the matches you participate in. At the end of the season, I will either refund you or apply balance to future events or bill you for matches you played over your deposit. Attending practice is optional but recommended. Practices cost $20-$25. Here are our numbers and sign up information.
To sign up you need your current USTA card, a credit card and our team number. Go to http://national.usta.com with this information and click on join a team. Follow the prompts. You now need to log into the site. It is easy to set up an account. Once that is done, then you can join the team.

There are several new rules changes to bring your awareness to. If the temperature is 100+ the teams have the option to reschedule. (good to know for paseo). If the match start time the temperature is 99, then the match must go on even if the temperature goes beyond 100 during the match. Each match MUST be at least 50% the division level. For example in a 3.5 match, you can not have five 3.0 level players playing. All teams MUST have at least 50% of the level players signed up on a team.
Junior Team Tennis: The season will run from March 4 through June . Our teams will play at Braemar, CSUN, Porter Valley and Balboa and our home matches are Weddington Tennis 4141 Whitsett Ave. Studio City. Most of the matches will be played on Sunday afternoons to avoid conflicts with other league sports. Home matches will usually be Sunday's around 3:00 p.m.
Nikki's Tennis Crew has organized three teams levels 10, 12 and 14 intermediate. [See below]
The 10 and under team will use the new green dot balls and play full court. All matches will be 8 game pro sets, no add scoring. Matches are comprised of 6 players playing four singles and two doubles. Your child will play one line maybe two depending on number of players each weekend. Juniors are not required to play in every match but more they play the better for them. There will not be USTA T-shirts this year so no need to worry about sizing. Our team colors are black and red this year. You can either purchase the offical Junior Team Tennis shirt from www.Tenniswarehouse.com or wear your own red shirt. Practices are optional but recommended for team and skill building. They are offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5:00-6:30 p.m. Cost is $30.00. Your child does not have to attend all. Their attendance day(s) can vary week to week. I just ask that you let me know in advanced which day(s) they will be attending.
There will be a flat fee for the season of $150.00.There is a USTA team sign up fee of $17.00. Team Numbers:

Go to www.usta.com. All players must be a current member of the USTA. I believe a year membership is $20. If your child is under 10 and new to the USTA they get a free year membership. Follow the prompts to join the USTA. Once you have your child's USTA number:
1. Go to Register Now for Jr. Team Tennis (right center)
2. Click on register to play
3. Enter team number (found above)
4. Enter child's USTA number

Junior's Classes: The summer schedule started June 13 and will run
through August 26. Congratulations to the 10 and under on winning their league
this past season. Parents who are interested in having their children play team
tennis, please contact me.
Quickstart Junior Classes are classes on modified courts for younger kids. The
juniors play from doubles alley to doubles alley over a small net and with balls that
are bigger and have a slower bounce. It is wonderful to see the younger kids have
rallys. The equipment and courts are tailored to suit their needs and abilities,
kids will feel confident as soon as they pick up a racquet.
Rally League Classes are for juniors who want competition at a modified level.
Matches are played with modified nets and balls. The juniors get solid knowledge of
how matches are played.
Private Tennis Lesson are great for those of you who want personalized
attention to improve your tennis game. I have a couple weekly spots available. Monthly
lessons are great to if you need little touch ups. If our schedules don't match,
my assistant Mindy Oki is a great option as well!
Facebook: Trying to keep up with technology I am going to try to announce stuff on
my Facebook "Nikki's Tennis Crew" group. If you haven't already joined my group,
please do so, so you will be kept in the loop!! You can also "friend" me under
Nicole Robbins as well!! I am also going to try to update my web site and emailing lists.
I am going to eventually get off of AOL so please make sure you have my email down as

knows how long it will take me to leave the comforts of AOL after so many years! Many
of you have been on my lists for over 15 years. If you are no longer interested in
receiving emails regarding my tennis program, please let me know so I can make sure

Tennis Camp is open to all adults and advanced juniors. They are held
on a weekend. The cost is $120.00 for both days or $75.00 for one day. Family
